I have had the pleasure of working with Rick for several years and in several different situations. He is one of the most knowledgeable and insightful HR practitioners I have worked with, and uses personal stories and experiences to bring his points to life extremely well. He has a calming and personal approach when dealing with groups that removes any defensiveness and increases receptiveness to change, and this carries through to individual interactions as well. This approach is particularly effective in assisting executives in transition, where he pushes them to think about what they WANT to do…and then helps them develop plans to DO that. This personalized approach is far more effective than the typical networking-focused approach.
